From a young age, he had an insatiable fascination with history, eagerly devouring every book and story that crossed his path. This passion not only fueled his imagination but also propelled him to the top of his class in the subject. His keen understanding of past events and their intricate connections allowed him to surpass his peers effortlessly. Inspired by this childhood love, he ultimately chose to dedicate his studies to the field of history, eager to uncover the tales and truths that have shaped our world.

After graduating, he invested his hard-earned savings into his dream: the Atlanthian Museum. This grand structure, with its high ceilings and large windows, was now his blank canvas waiting to be filled.

As he wandered through the empty halls, he faced the crucial decision of what to display. Should he showcase ancient artifacts, glistening with history, or modern art that provoked thought? He envisioned curating exhibits that would not only entertain but also educate and inspire visitors. Seated in the main exhibition hall, surrounded by echoes of the past, he contemplated how each carefully chosen piece would tell a story and captivate all who entered, transforming the museum into a sanctuary of knowledge and wonder.

After pondering for what felt like ages, a thrilling notion struck him: “What if I head out to the POLUT Underwater Mine? I’ve saved every single UMV battery I’ve collected, and I know they do ‘free dives’ too! Mining could lead me to some amazing artifacts for the museum!” With a surge of determination, he shot up to the surface and made his way to Route 8, where the POLUT Underwater Mine awaited. The warm sun blazed overhead, igniting his enthusiasm as he embarked on this exhilarating journey into the depths.

He knew this was the start of filling the museum with precious historical artifacts he would uncover.

However, one day, while he was in the Underwater Mine, he felt a significant and rather powerful presence nearby. It was none other than Dr. Vanta, the CEO and founder of POLUT Corp. and the POLUT Underwater Mine.

“My staff told me about you always coming here, Throne Marlowe — or should I now say, Professor Marlowe?” Dr. Vanta stated, emphasizing his authority as he stood on the main floor of the Underwater Mine.

To everyone’s astonishment, the man let out a deep chuckle, as if he had anticipated this moment all along. He pivoted smoothly to face the figure who had been lurking behind him, stepping into the light. “Dr. Bandhur Vanta, is this any way to greet an old friend?” he declared, a sly grin spreading across his face. His gaze flickered back to the CEO, a spark of mischief in his eyes, as he added in a low, charged voice, “Long time no see, eh?”

“Indeed, it has been a long time, old friend,” Dr. Vanta replied, looking back at him, the metal of his robotic left eye shining in the room’s lighting. The supposed ‘tension’ dissipated as the staff realized what was happening. It turned out Dr. Vanta and Professor Marlowe had attended the same school when they were younger — Vanta had pursued his science ambitions while Marlowe had followed his passion for history.

“Why don’t we grab some coffee in Chesma Town? It feels like ages since we last caught up,” Marlowe suggested with a hint of excitement in his voice.

After several hours of conversing and enjoying coffee, the two men stepped out of the café, looking at each other.

“It was nice reconnecting with you, Vanta, especially since we hadn't been in contact for years,” Marlowe admitted before adding, “Thank you for the Loomian as well.” Dr. Vanta nodded. “Of course, Hunder will protect your artifacts at all costs.”

Marlowe decided to open the museum, hiring employees and arranging everything according to his plan.

Since that moment, the Atlanthian Museum and POLUT Corp. forged a dynamic partnership, supporting each other’s endeavors with steadfast financial backing. Their collaboration blossomed into a vibrant alliance, enriching both institutions in ways they never imagined.

Marlowe and Vanta shared a steady and balanced friendship that felt unbreakable. However, as their lives began to take different directions, Marlowe remained unaware of Vanta's hidden ambitions. While this seemed like the end of their journey together, it was just the beginning of a new chapter.
